Walking

Mia with her 12 month jacket. You can tell she has our "short" genes, poor girl!

Mia loves her froggy slippers, both in walking and holding them like a stuffed animal.

Morning Surprise!

I went to get Mia and this is what I saw...

Walking

Well, Mia is walking now just about as much as she crawls. It is pretty funny because she is so proud of herself. She is still pretty wobbly, but she can bend down and pick up stuff without falling. I'll try to put a video clip of her walking on here as soon as I can.

Mia definitely has an attitude or “tude" as I call it, if I tell her no she turns and looks at me and does whatever I told her not too. I get a good laugh out of it, but I sure hope her little "tude" is short lived. I know though that if she is anything like me it will probably only get worse. lol I love being a mother!

Are you brave enough?

Are you brave enough to write a comment about your favorite General Conference talk and why? I love hearing other people's favorite talk and why. I always seem to get more insight when I ask other people. My favorite talk was by L.Tom Perry, keep it simple. For being in a "college student" situation it helped me and bade me to do keep things more simple. I also liked Elder Wirthlin's talk about how laughing. I can add my testimony to his about how laughter makes life so much easier.

Family Pictures

I would like a vote on which pitures are best because we are going to hang them up in our home. These are taken with my camera but Lorene's camera is better, so our actually pictures will be better. These are taken about 500 feet from our apartment.

Here is a video, even though it is on it's side, it is still pretty cute.

Birthday Cake

Here is the cake that I made for Mia. Well actually Ryan's sister, Sherron, fixed my writing skills on the cake. I only ended up writing the "H". I am awesome!
My gangster baby! I love this hat; we got it from the Gap. Can you see her curly hair?

The Church is True!

I read a few articles in the Ensign, and dang, the church is awesome. They know what they are talking about. They have an article about abortion from Russell M. Nelson, he was so clear and accurate. There are no cloudy after thoughts. Then the other article I read helps families to strengthen themselves against all the degrading values in this world. If you haven't had a chance to read it you can go to lds.org
